The low cost was definitely a plus for this hotel, as well as the friendly staff who tried their best to help us despite the language barrier. The location was great, as it was within walking distance of many popular tourist spots.

The hotel itself was old and had a musky smell throughout our stay. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep.

Dongcheng district won't disappoint you. A short walk to Shichahai metro stop, some 15 minutes walk. It was next to Gong Wang Fu.

They say it's an international business hotel, however nobody of the staff speaks English and there was no english television

The hotel is situated near a beautiful park that was perfect for a romantic stroll. the staff was friendly and always willing to help. the breakfast was good enough and added a bit of variety to our mornings.

The beds were uncomfortable and felt like rocks. the lack of Wi-Fi was frustrating and made it difficult to plan our days.

Hotel staff speak English poorly. We ordered a taxi to the airport at the reception. Several times we asked whether staff understood. In the morning it appeared that staff did not understand. Lucky that we managed the airport...

Easy and flexibility of making a reservation.

No wi-fi. Breakfast very basic for western taste e.g. poor selection of breakfast cereals and no butter for toast. Location didn't meet our needs e.g. no access to the subway.

The staff despite was receptive, attentive, and very worked hard to find my reservation that had not been recorded.

The room could have used updating, new carpet, and a better windows (my room was very cold).

I liked the price and the fact that we had a twin room with my daughter. This room was relatively quiet during the night despite ongoing subway works
